What do you want to design | print today?
Uncoated finish does exactly what it says on the tin. We print onto the uncoated paper stock and then do nothing else to it.
However, the basic uncoated paper that we use can be matt, silk or gloss and so the type of base paper you select will affect the way you print comes out. Matt uncoated gives a flat matt finish. Silk uncoated gives a smoother feel and a slight sheen to the print. Gloss uncoated gives a more shiny base layer which is good for photos, but bad to write on with a ballpoint pen.
We appreciate that bereavement is a difficult time. So may things to do and organise, not least of which is to produce a fitting funeral order of service in celebration of your loved ones' life.
Some of our customers are able to produce the funeral order of service artwork, but quite often, in this difficult moment, many families just have a few photos, a poem, a few words and a couple of hymns and would prefer someone to put this all together.
At Digital Printing Online we can help you produce your loved ones order of service with the compassion it deserves. If you select the option of asking one of our designers to produce the order of service, we will phone you and discuss your thoughts and ideas and try and put a funeral order of service that hopefully will endure as a celebration of your loved ones life.
If you need your funeral printing QUICKER than the standard lead times below, please phone us on 01908 696999 and we will prioritise your order of service in our production schedule.
Putting together an funeral order of service (or a celebration of life) is quite often a very emotional experience.
The choice of a happy, memorable photograph is often the starting point. And a little bit of humour. The front page Clement Freuds' order of service said: Clement Freud. Born 24.04.24. Best Before 15.04.09. Designed to make people smile.
Font style and layout is also important - and will differ quite dramatically between a celebration of a younger person and an older one. The A5 format is ideal, most only have 4 pages (i.e. a single sheet folded in half). More elaborate celebrations have 8 pages (some of them blank) and rarely 12.
If you have your design all laid up then great, simply upload your file with your order when you have chosen your options and your celebration of life order of service will be on their way in a jiffy.
We print our funeral order of service on a 250gsm silk card and fold it in the middle. If you select 8 or 12 pages, we print the inner pages on 170gsm silk paper and double staple them on the folded edge.
If you would like to design your own funeral printing then please feel free to use our free online design tool. We have a selection of funeral order of service templates to choose from.
